Driving dining vehicles to deliver and/or pick up food, equipment to support dining/catering events. In addition, assist with the setup and break down of events.
Must embody the mission of the Dining Services Department: “A Team of Professionals dedicated to providing quality food service with a personal touch.”
•Retrieve and deliver appropriate food and equipment on a timely basis, utilizing party and pull sheets as well as self-generated equipment and décor lists.
•Ensure cleanliness of delivery vehicle(s).
•Create attractive, inviting displays at catered parties with the effective use of props and cleaned, polished equipment.
•Demonstrate accountability, initiative and ownership in the successful outcome of catered events.
•Ensure that all catering areas are clean and orderly after every event.
•Guarantee the timely pick-up of all catered food items and their return to storage or production areas.
•Observe all safety and SERVE SAFE policies/procedures regarding proper handling and labeling of food and equipment while preparing, serving and storing food.
•Practice proper cleaning procedures for all kitchen equipment and observe all MSDS policies/ procedures for safety and sanitation.
•Work collaboratively with all staff to ensure timely close up and lock down procedures.
