Description
Small manufacturing company, producers of vermiculite and perlite products (25 employees) seeks full time supervisor for its Lawrence MA facility. This position requires a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience in a fast-paced 3 shifts, up to 7 days a week environment. The candidate will work directly under the Plant manager and be in charge of a 2-4 person shift. Responsibilities will include all aspects of manufacturing operation including assisting in scheduling production, personnel, maintenance, training, customer service and quality control. This is a hands on position that requires working with crews, operating fork lift, bobcat and other equipment as needed. This position requires a candidate that has strong mechanical ability and is experienced in supervising production crews and multitasking and is self-motivated and is able to work without constant supervision and direction.
